Last Sunday I spontaneously went to Hornbæk Beach, north from Copenhagen, to drink a cup of coffee in the finest surroundings at the local spa, followed by a walk on the otherwise deserted beach. It felt quite liberating to take the car and go for a drive further north – it’s definitely something I must do a lot more of during the summer, on days when I’m not working and during the weekends where I don’t have anything planned. After I got a car, the possibilities are many, especially when it comes to photo shoots. I have always been very dependent on public transport, which isn’t always ideal when you want to shoot on locations away from the city and at the same time have a lot of equipment and clothing to carry on. I aim to create and bring you more editorials shot outside of Copenhagen, which will make a desirable variation here on By Pankalla.
